This deliverable (D8.5) investigatesthe key exploitable results(KERs) that were derived from the exploitable result (ER) table presented in D8.3 (Annex I). The selection process considered the
product or service maturity and commercial potential.
Chapter 2 is a general overview of the methodology used in the processes of business model development, and Chapter 3 describes the five value propositions of the following chosen KERs:
1. The Fahrenheit Hybrid Heat Pumps (HHP)
2. The Ecotherm Solar Thermal Concentrator (STC)
3. The Ecotherm Energy Management System (EMS)
4. The AIT Phase Change Materials (PCM) Storage
5. The HyCool Start-up
The value mapping in Chapter 3 defines the fit between the value propositions and the associated customer segments by analysing pains and gains as well as pain relievers and gain
creators. This process was developed through exploitation forms (Annex II) and related workshops led by the HyCool innovation manager R2M for brainstorming directly with the KER
owners.
Based on the value mapping, the canvases in Chapter 4 show nine building blocks of the KER business models, and they include the strategic information for implementation of the
commercialisation and marketing strategies.
Due to the public nature of this document, costs and revenues) are only reported in a limited fashion due to the fact that they contain sensitive information.
This document will be partially updated at the conclusion of HyCool where the contribution from market analysis deliverable (D8.4) will be used to develop the SWOT (strengths, weakness,
opportunities, and threats) analysis. That update will also consider the replicability of the interventions at the pilot sites, including from a Latin American perspective where Givaudan has
several production sites that will be a key focus for HyCool market deployment.
